Question 676 solution states that under normal circumstances glucose and ATP are the heart's primary source of energy. General, Organic. And Biochem (6th Ed text) states that the heart derives most of its metabolic energy from ketone bodies, not from oxidation of glucose (p. 811). Which is right? Are there any Biochem gurus in here?? Thanks.
