Maybe call the school and ask for a letter of continued interest to be added to your file? You would have to actually write said letter though.

you have a pretty good DAT, PAT, and GPA...i cant see any reason for the rejection, unless if the interview went bad......according to stats, u should at LEAST get accepted in 1/4 schools....goodluck

The application cycle is CRAZY! I have heard once of a 4 interview individual not getting in anywhere. I have never heard of a 5+ interviewee not getting in anywhere. I have heard of several 3- interviewee's who have not gotten accepted anywhere. In the past, the people that I've heard who have recieved interviews but didn't get accepted were pre-dents who only got interviews based off of bizarre stipulations (i.e. (1) Called the adcom, adcom was having a good day and invited them. (2) Predent was friends with an adcom or knows someone who knew an adcom to get them an interview, etc...) In all fairness, I think receiving 4 interviews would give anybody a good shot getting into dental school given that the interviewee had an acceptable interview at all schools and that the interviews were given notwithstanding a lame stipulation. I didn't get in to the first 3 schools I interviewed at. One rejection and 2 permanently silent. I fixed my interviewing strategy, and I'm on the biggest roll of my life. Acceptances the first moment they can accept me too.

I've already shared interview tips with several ppl via pm over the months. They've gotten in too. I don't mind sharing ideas with ppl if I've interviewed at the same schools they'll interview at, but I noticed you have one post. Hiding one's identity doesn't seem right.

lol. sorry man. i will say that my friend w/6 interviews MAY have come across as just being in it for the money, tho it's impossible to say without actually having been in any of those interviews or mock interviewing with him.

i agree w/Denticus & Haisha: this process is ridiculous. i honestly think sometimes the schools just narrow down a list of people, and for acceptances they draw names out of a hat. it seems totally random at times. i only had 5 interviews and my stats are less than many of those here on SDN w/no acceptances, and yet i've gotten 3 acceptances and a waitlist spot.

Don't give up hope! the next name they draw out could be yours 😉
