possible with an 8 in BS?

Does anyone know if schools will screen you out if you have an 8 in BS?
my other 2 scores were 10 in PS and a 9 in V.

Normally I would say it is possible, but the 27 itself is too low. And if you are applying this cycle you are definitely wasting your money.

I doubt that they'd screen you out. Quite a few schools have their 10th %ile for BS at an 8.

Depends on who you talk to you. Apply very broadly and maybe throw out some DO applications as well. I had some classmates apply last year with 28's to 20+ md schools and other than an interview at the state school nada. The fact each got an interview at the state school means that they were in the running. In the end they got into some very good DO programs.

You might be screened at top tier schools, but other than that I think your stats seem decent enough to get an acceptance somewhere.
