Right now I'm trying to answer essay questions for a post bacc program but I don't even know where to start or how to answer them. If you have any advice, please share, I would be very grateful.

Heres the list of questions I've been given.

1) 1. Why did you choose the health profession indicated in your application?
*Should I address this as you would a personal statement for the aamcas? With a theme, and integration of my activities and so forth? Or just list and explain my reasons?

2) 2. What is your present preparedness and suitability for entering that health profession? Use this section to address any academic problems you have incurred and how you have dealt with them.
*What does this question even asking? I mean, i'm seeing medical school and the health profession as two things. Am i prepared for medical school? Not yet, do I feel suitable for healthcare? yes, in terms of my people skills and professionalism. But I'm missing the knowledge. Or should I just start talking about my academic record? There isn't a story about one semester where I did really bad and bounced back. My science gpa is what holding me back, Ive done only so-so in every science class taken (B-, C+, C) all due to a lack of focus and good study habits. So how have I dealt with it? I havn't..thats why i want to do the post bac. So...how do i answer this?

3) What obstacles, if any, have you encountered in preparing for your chosen health profession? (Feel free to include any issues concerning your ethnic, racial, and cultural background)
*Is it just me or are these questions phrased really weird?? I don't understand what this questions is asking me. If there's anything that i can think of that has not made "preparing for my health profession" easier, its my financial issues and the fact that my parents don't have a background in higher education. And even then i don't understand how that has been an obstacle specifically in preparing to become a physician...whats the direct link?

4) How have you used the resources available to you to help others?
*Would this be a good place to address my leadership roles in my ECS? Or is it asking for direct things I did, like about volunteer work or teaching in the community? I did more for my undergrad community than for people outside of it, in terms of direct impact. For anything else, it was advocacy work.

5) What type of health profession practice do you envision establishing after your professional training has been completed? (Include demographics of patient population and location).
*Should I be painting a picture for them? Like what my average week would consist of, ideally?

***And please respond only if you have something to say about the questions, do your best to control your temptation to make an unnecessary, mean remark. Even if you think these questions are stupid. If you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all
