I am little bit disagree with the the vote because with your GPA you will need to demonstrate a 1 year upward trend from undergrad courses before you proceed on to a masters. The grades you received from the masters program will not average with your undergrad courses. In addition, it is not easy obtain As in the masters program (at least in my program). Since adcoms are expecting a gpa of 3.7 and above from the masters program, you will need to learn how to earn those As from you undergrad courses first and it is obviously you haven't learned how to do so with that GPA. I suggest you do a postbac first and get your GPA close to 3.0 as much as possible and proceed with a masters. Reality is harsh, but that is how most under 3.0 students like us has to deal with after undergrad.
