I have registered for bio1 in queens college in new york. the problems is I'm also working full time tues-sun 5-1am, classes at tuesday 9:15-1:30, thur 12:15-1:30. I can't afford to get anything lower than b+. the class material requires to read 20-30 pgs of notes & text... is it possible, I'm thinking about dropping the classs, quit work next year, start taking all the classes in sep 05...what you think guys..

i think its definitly possible. I dont know how academically capable you are but if your motivated and driven enough, u should be able to work those hours as well as get an A in that class. Your only going to class 2 days a week so thats not even a big deal. Also alot of people i know seems to also think bio is easier than chem, orgo or physics so thats another plus for you.
Just plan your days accordingly and keep up with your reading and hw assignments for class most importanly. Dont fall behind. With that said and done, an A should be easy to get.

I am actually taking the same class at Queens this semester and I think that you can do it. Here is what I got out of the first lecture and from the syllabus...stay on top of the lab work, it counts for a large portion of your final grade. As long as you go to lab, participate in the labs, stay organized, and write two good reports, you can earn a good amount of points. I have spoke to people who have taken Chabora before, memorize the slides, take good notes and re-read them...more than once! Also, "blackboard" is an exellent resource, use it to your advantage. Good luck this semester!
