hey guys, I'm looking to apply to dental school next year. I have one more semester left of sciences (ochem and bio) but right now my GPA is 3.0..and will probably finish with a 3.0. I'm finishing these pre-reqs after moving back home from LA, now taking courses @ Cal, but it seems I should've just taken them at a easier institution to make the 3.3 GPA cut off. Anyway, I haven't taken the DATs either (planning to take next summer) and want to know what I need to aim for. Should I even apply next year or take upper divs and apply the following year. If suggested to apply next year what DAT should i be looking at?

thanks for your time appreciate it

Trust me, even if you score 22+ on DAT, it will be difficult to get interviews with your GPA. I've been through it.
If I were you, I would take a year or two off to repair your GPA through postbacc or SMP.

Your DAT is fine....You will need a MS in science with a 3.6+ GPA GL
