Hi everyone,
I'm new to SDN but I've been reading many posts about low-gpa and post-bacc programs and it's been really helpful, but I was hoping I could get some advice about my personal situation.
I'm 21 and a senior in college. I'm a biology/psychology double major and although I do well in my psych classes, unfortuanatley they don't count towards my BCPM GPA, which is a 2.32 and my cum. uGPA is 2.954. I made 2 Ds in my biology classes and Cs in all my chemistry courses, so I haven't felt prepared enough to take the MCAT either.
I've been looking at many post-baccs, but most have a 3.0 GPA requirement, so I feel a little stuck; I would like to increase my uGPA before applying to any SMPs as well. Any advice here?
This summer, I'm signing up to take a phlebotomy course, so I can hopefully find a job and gain so clinical experience as well.
I know I'm still young and soon to be fresh out of undergrad so I'm in no rush, I just want to know steps I can take to help me get back on the path to Med school
