Post bacc programs??

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Also remember you can build your own post bacc program as a "non-degree seeking" student by just taking classes somewhere. Works best at a big university where it is easier to get into larger upper level classes. I did this for two years at my state university.

Yeah I know, but I’ve struggled with the prerequisites and I know that I’m gonna need A LOT of help with DAT prep and Ochem if I want to get accepted to a dental school. I think a formal post bacc program will be better for me.

DO NOT do a "non-degree seeking" DIY post bacc. You're wasting your time because that GPA will add on to what you already have. It's the cheapest route, but only students who haven't taken any pre-reqs should do this.
Masters would be the best choice here. You'll have a separate masters GPA and a good amount of schools will just look at that.

This is true. When I did my DIY postbacc I had completed zero pre- reqs yet. Good point.

Never thought about that. Thank you!
