Post-bacc/SMP options?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
There are many different options. Are you looking for a "career changer" post-bacc to do your pre-med courses for the first time? Are you looking to make up for some bad grades in undergrad? Do you care if it gives you a masters or a certificate? Are you looking for a program with a guaranteed linkage or interview? @Goro usually recommends choosing the program that is cheapest and gives you the best "deal" (whether that means a linkage, interview, etc.) Also, if you're going down this road, please read his Guide to Reinvention.

Here is a database from AAMC that has all the different programs: Postbac

Finally, I would encourage you to change your username and profile photo to something anonymous. It's better to be safe and protect your information online!

What are some good Post-bacc/SMP options?

I don't give recommendations as to individual SMPs or post-bac programs, because they're pretty much a dime-a-dozen.. You should go for:

1) the cheapest tuition

2) a program given at a host medical school

3) is one year in length

4) has the best linkage deal.
