retaking mcat this january, applying in DO cycle and not sure if ill make it in this year. thinking about doing a post bacc with the year off that ill at least have. any post bacc that accept students with very poor mcat, but good gpa?

gpa: 3.4 overall
bcpm: 3.5
mcat: <20 (im embarassed)

Drexel MSP, but that doesn't generally get you into medical school, it just focuses on getting your MCAT up and getting you into Drexel IMS. You're not getting into medical school until you fix that score.

There's plenty of time to retake the MCAT before the time of year when SMP apps are available. Take a review course and try again.

i took the kaplan course (but didnt utilize to my fullest capabilities due to heavy course schedule last year) i know im capable of getting in the mid-20s since all my practice tests i had taken prior to the actual exam were in between 25-27 but i really just choked. i would love to be scoring higher than that but i wasn't.

does the drexel program have a min cut off for mcat?

Scores in that range show a lack of mastery of the material. The good news is that it is very easily corrected, with just a little bit of work. You can try drexel MSP, but I think taking a course and/or treating the MCAT as your full time job will fix the problem. Study MCAT for 8 hours a day for five/six days a week, and you'll improve by 10+ points within two months and you should be hitting 8-9 on every section without a problem.
