Post-Comlex PE question

The airbnb I booked the week before said “no smoking”, but when I showed up at 11pm the night before Comlex is clearly smelled of smoke. Having no choice I slept there and went to the PE the next day...I aired myself out as much as possible on the drive there but still probably smelled...how do you think the PE will view this?

Also I forgot to check peoples thoracic back and do heart and lungs 1x. And I’m sure some of my asssessments were flat out wrong.

Lol so nervous ! Can anyone relate?

I take it Monday, but it doesn’t sound like you did awful.
Did you forget to check the thoracic on everyone? Cause I have no plans to check it on everybody and I know people who passed and they never did.

That’s my strategy. Anterior and posterior lungs + 4 heart posts+ pertinent system.

Also, as far as smelling like an ash tray I have no idea. I hope you aired out enough?
Writing “No edema” isn’t going to kill you either.

How do schools respond to failing Pe 2x?

Possible dismissal? Failing 1 time might be a fluke, 2 times mean there’s some serious deficiency at hand here. You must screw up something majorly to fail the PE

I took my PE.
It’s easy to think of all the things you did wrong.
Forgetting to counsel one on marijuana use.
Running out of time on the complaint to not have time for preventative medicine.
Running out of time in one case.
Poking on the wrong side of a person on an OMT case.

So if you failed I failed 😉
