Post Dec. Interviews but applied sort of early?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
yes, anything is possible if you don't get an official rejection letter yet.

contrary to the hype here, HALF of all possible interview slots happen after dec1st,

im selling some chill pill. you wanna buy?

do you have any links to the statistics on this? it would give a lot of us a bit more hope this cycle.. I couldn't find how many interviews are given pre vs post dec. Thanks!

sorry, I don't have any published data to back up my words.

Anyways, when I attended MWU-AZ the dean gave us the # of interview to be 450 (50 slots of which near march are reserved for their Master students) while he says they interview around 200 before dec 1st and end up interview until the class is filled. everything totaled to 400 slots (with 50 slots for master = 450)

and just think about it, no schools will have the resource to interview 300 people (to fill >100 seats) in 3 months) thats just too many.

Look on the interview/rejection threads from past years and you will see that many, many interviews happen after Dec 1st. Applying early isn't the only factor in pre-Dec interviews.

I would like a dozen of the chill pills, please! I apply to 12 schools, only got 3 interviews so far. One of them even in next year. My anxiety level is higher than the Empire State Building now. :bang:

My app was sent out early July and I just received a Post-dec 1st interview. So there ya go
