What historically seems to be the trend for post-dec interviews at UPenn? I read from previous years (2009, 2010) that Penn doesn't really come close to filling their spots at the pre-december deadline (Dec 3rd). But I'm not sure how accurate that is.

Thanks

I would assume thats pretty accurate considering the fact that if these candidates were extended an offer of admission from Penn, chances are they received offers from others schools on their list. In the end, it boils down to dollars and cents for most candidates, especially when they can cut their tuitions in half by attending their state school. Penn isn't cheap

For sure. For me, being Canadian, everything is OOS, but with being said, some schools are more expensive than others. I've had an interview at UMN and have two coming up in November at Mercy and Buffalo. My Penn interview is in December, but after Dec 3. So in the end it going to come down to many factors to take into consideration. Facilities, specialization rate, distance from home, relative cost etc. I'd love to go to Penn, but I don't think sheer 'emotion' is a way to decide where to go. Maybe it is. We'll see what happens. Thanks.

UPenn is showing me no love.
