post-derm residency fellowships

what different fellowships are available after derm residency? i know there's mohs, dermpath/procedural, peds... can someone summarize the pros/cons and compensation after doing each of these fellowships vs private practice vs academics?

i don't know much about fellowships. now that i got into derm, in the back of my mind just thinking about whether i should go private practice or do a fellowship. thanks!

You have a few years to make that decision. Don't fret over it now, as the compensation implications will quite likely change over that time period. Over the course of your first two years of residency you will determine what you like and what you do not. It is only prudent to wait until you have that knowledge prior to making any fellowship decisions.
