Now that my interview season looks like it has come to a close, and I no longer have work to do from secondaries, i have an inordinate amount of downtime at work. Post interesting reads, blogs, articles, whatever to keep myself, and all others, entertained.

I'll start for the sports fans out there:http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/simmons/index

read anything by Bill Simmons.

download the stumbleupon plug-in for firefox or explorer and that is all you need to "fill the void"

thank me later

This program seems like a trojan dressed-up in ribbons and bows.
It looks like it gathers your surfing preferences to enable targeted marketing (by selling the info to third party companies).
Then again, I might be mistaken.. but downloading a program like this one just doesn't feel right.

Go find yourself a nice girl to fill your void. 😉

I love Bill Simmons! I actually got in his mailbag about a year and a half ago!

If you're into progressive politics, try the Daily Kos. If you're into short stories, poke around. Many, many works from authors in the 20th century are available for free online. Or if you're in the mood to read a novel or two, try that guttenberg project website.

I spend a lot of time here.

Jay Leno's Photo booth and the Chronicles of Narnia Rap are priceless.

If you like celebrity gossip...

dlisted.blogspot.com

it's crass, crude, and yet somehow classy! (and updated ALL the friggin' time)

You haven't lived until you've watched the David Hasselhoff rendition of "Hooked on a Feeling"....priceless.
