Post-interview FAIL

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
So I just had a great interview today at my top school and sent a thank you letter to my interviewer. Upon reading over my already sent email, I realized I spelled my first name wrong.

Nice knowing you all, I am going to go cry in the fetal position for the next 10 hours.
Just send a follow-up with the classic:

"haha sorry my friend sent that

Best,

Correctly spelled name"

By the time your thank you letter reached the interviewer's inbox, your fate has already almost certainly been decided.

Many committees will meet day-of to discuss that day's candidates.

I wouldn't worry about it.
I don't think this is true. Every school I've gone to thus far clearly stated a review day with the committee at least a week later. It also seems pretty infeasible to meet after every interview day.

If it helps Coffee, remember that two f's and two e's equals four times the flavor!

I know for certain schools, at least two I've interviewed at, the interviewers write up a letter and present that to the committee, which I assume would take longer than a few hours after an interview day.
