I just got rejected to one of the DO schools I thought I had a really good interview at this morning. So far I have 3 MD interviews and 3 DO Interviews. Seeing that I got rejected from one of the DO schools, do you think there is any shot of me getting into any of the MD schools I have an interview at?

Ok. Thanks just sort of bummed out hah

Really? I wonder why
It isn't like schools are on some sort of straight line sliding scale that applicants fall somewhere onto. Different schools have different processes and care about different things. It's much more complicated than you're making it out to be.

I've seen people get accepted to a school with full tuition merit scholarship, yet not even get interviewed by other schools with similar stats and selectivity. Don't read too much into any one individual reject/waitlist.

Ok. I got an interview at my favorite school (Boston University) in a month and really don't want to mess up. Do you have any ideas/tips on how I can improve? I have been trying to find mock interviews at the local university, but it's been unsuccessful.

I'd find out everything I could about the BU interview day from these forums, maybe message some people that have interviewed so far this cycle for their insights. Other than mock interviewing, you could try to find out from the DO school what the weak area of your app was (maybe your interview was actually scored well). After that there is just the usually general advice of knowing your app well, and thinking beforehand about answers for questions that come up a lot.

Check out the PreAllo sticky at the top of the forum with all of the resources. There is a link to a thread there full of interview advice

This is literally possible to determine. Maybe you just had an off day. Most people are terrible judges of their own interview performance, BTW.

I have an acceptance at a school that is much more highly regarded than several rejected me. **** happens.
