Hi Guys,

Its been a long time since I have posted. I have a question for the EM attendings. Back in residency I used EMRap and EM reports but I am curious as to other available options. Which one is better in your opinion and why.

1)EM Rap vs Audiodigest -both are 48 ACEP/AMA Credits per year

2)Emergency Medicine Reports vs Critical Decisions in Emergency Medicine

Thanks for the advise.

I use the EM Prep series which preps you for the LLSA tests every year. It comes with a test that you send in that gets you 35 CMEs. It's by the guys who do the EM Rap series.

I know that doesn't answer your question about those specific materials but I do the prep instead because you now hove to do the LLSA anyway.

I get EMRAP and like it more than Audiodigest, which I used for a year. I think the content is more focused with EMRAP. AD seems to have a lot of lectures that didn't do much for me. Matter of opinion only but that's mine. My mentor, OTOH, is a big audiodigest fan.

I got Critical decisions during my chief year and would recommend it.

I also get EM Abstracts and Risk Management monthly. I can recommend both of these as well. They're all done by the same folks (Bukata, Herbert, etc). I spend alot of time in my car commuting and find this format very useful for me.

Take care,
Jeff
