A quick question about the classes that I should take for postbac. Many classes at the school I'm going to for postbac such as bio, chem, physics, etc have a separate lab "class." So if for example you will have physiology as BIO 300 or something, and the lab for this class will be BIO 301 (or 300L or something.) There is no requirement to take these classes concurrently for the students (or at all really.) Anyways, my question is whether I should take these classes? I ask this only because I wonder if it looks odd that I might take cell bio, but not cell bio lab? I don't want to take them because 1) they take up A LOT of time for only 1 unit, 2) My lab skills are actually very good and I've never received a bad grade in a lab, 3) after a while lab classes overlap and there is so much repetition that for a lack of a better phrase feels like a waste of my time.
So what's the consensus, do you take the associated lab class or not?
