Poster presentation on app but had to cancel?

Hello all,

I recently found out I cannot attend the poster presentation for a case report of mine. It is listed on my app as "accepted for X conference", with the date for this weekend. I submitted my app months ago when it was accepted thinking I could go but now can't.

Will it be a problem with interviews if I'm asked about the conference and have to say I didn't go? Again, it was only listed as accepted for this weekend.

It was still accepted, regardless of your attendance or not. Be ready with an answer for why you weren't able to make the conference for if they ask. Otherwise don't worry about it.
