Ok, I don't mean to sound like an idiot here but I am just starting to learn about what it takes to become a dentist. I couldn't help but notice that on NYU and SUNY Stonybrooks website that they mention that you have to pay them to get trained in either gp or some other specialty. Is this true for all schools? If so is it financed through loans? Finally, if a dentist is not being paid while they are in their residency does this mean that they can hold another job during residency? I know I am asking a lot of questions but they are all related and I am hoping somebody can clarify these questions I had. Thanks for reading my post.
