Hey guys. So I don't know if this is a valid worry or if I'm just freaking out due to the posts here. (coming here less than 2 weeks before STep I = BIG mistake). So I'm scheduled to take my exam next Monday. I felt pretty prepared overall, but then I came here and saw all these people saying how they have gotten so much biochem, gross anatomy, and neuroanatomy on their tests lately. Unfortunately, those are the topics I feel the weakest in. 😱 I basically know what's in First Aid for those but not that much other than that. I took NBME 7 today which I got a 225 on, and I have an average of 65% in Uworld. Now my question is.........would it be worth delaying my exam (actually meaning putting off my first rotation) so I could learn more biochem, neuro, gross in case I get a form with a ton on it? Or should I just STOP READING SDN  and go ahead and take it on Monday? Keep in mind I'm not trying to get any crazy SDN score....anything 210+ would really be fine!

Thanks! I just keep having these panic attacks thinking that like 50% of my test will be biochem or anatomy/neuroanatomy and that i'll drop 40+ points from my NBME! 😱

The NBME tests are very accurate. Keep in mind that the people who are memorizing high yield neuro word for word are also disappointed when they don't get 260s. If it says you're getting a 225 that's just about what you'll get.

omg..same here! i hope i dont get a lot of molec cell, and calculation stuff on my exam.
i had an acute asthma attack a few weeks ago, and when i get panic attacks, it gets worse 🙁

Don't worry about what other people have said about their exam content. As long as you're scoring above your goal in practice tests, you should be fine.
