I'm trying to make some big decisions in the next few weeks and need some advice. In making the decision whether to post bac, I'm trying to evaluate a few factors in my academic history. I assume that BCMP stands for bio, chem, math, and physics(?). As far as the math is concerned, would a class titled: Stat 2300 Business Statistics, be considered math? I've searched SDN, and what was mentioned was not definitive. And if you must know, yes, C-, 3yrs ago, I don't know -probably crack. 🙂
If I do post bac, I'm leaning heavily towards d-school. Do they compute BCMP the same way?
Background:
BA Finance/Econ 2003, gpa 3.36. For the first half of my undergrad I had a near perfect GPA. During the second half I scored a job that that was extremely beneficial to my career in business and prospects for an MBA. Unfortuantely the job was also very demanding and the latter half of my undergrad work is very mediocre (B-schools aren't too GPA sensitive). I'll spare you all the details of my resume, but suffice it to say that I would be a non-trad applicant with plenty of ECs.
Assuming/presuming that I were to able to pulll perfect grades in my post bac work
I would have a ~3.4 overall and ~3.7 science. Of course there are many other factors (DAT, LORs, ECs), but what do you think?. I'll either do post bac at HES or a self-made program @ my state school.
I would welcome any perspectives or advice.
