This is really premature for me, but watching my wife load up OneNote for Pharmacy school brought it to mind. How are slides in vet school usually constructed? Are they printer/user friendly or do they look like the work of an over zealous pitchman trying to get a million dollar account - what we call Power Point Rangers? Most of hers are the latter - colored or graphic slide masters that would break even the largest ink budgets. Just trying to get an idea of how much reformatting the slides will need before I can use them effectively.

In my experience it depends on the instructor. Some have really good minimalistic slides, while others have waay too much going on in theirs (color, graphics, 10 slides when 1 would have sufficed, etc.). One thing to keep in mind, too, is that if you don't necessarily want color pictures, you can choose "pure black and white" under your print options. And if you want color pictures, black text, and a white background you can just change the design/theme to one that works for you.

ETA: I do both quite frequently.
