Hi All,
I am taking the MCAT August 25th, 2016, so I have about 5 weeks to go. I finished my content review at the beginning of July (which included all the questions from pre-2015 Berkeley Review as well as all of the ExamCrackers Bio), but I used the TPR Mcat 2015 set for the actual readings and made extensive notes using Word and Anki. I have started taking practice tests and they have been as follows:
NS 1: 510 (128/127/128/127)
NS 2: 510 (128/127/128/127)
NS 3: 507 (128/123/128/128) CARS was a disaster here, very difficult and I don't think I was as focused as I would have liked (lack of sleep night before)
NS 4: 507 (127/127/127/126)

Still have to take the final NS exam, the four EK exams and the two AAMC tests and all of the Question Packs/Section Bank etc. Planning to take the AAMC Unscored August 12th, and Scored August 19th. Also, planning to finish KA Psych/Soc passages, and as much as the Bio/Chem/Verbal as I can. Will also subscribe to the MPREP Q Bank and do some of that too.

I am feeling discouraged about my drop in scores, everyone said the first 3 NS exams were the hardest but I found those ones alot easier than NS 4 exam, which I thought had ridiculous CP passages.

I am aiming for a 512+ (128 in all sections). Is that feasible? Are the AAMC exams easier than NS and EK? Am I beating myself up for no reason?

I think you are fine. If you are that worried take the unscored exam soon and see how you do, I personally think you would get at least a 512. Just relax and use it as a learning experience and make sure you learn from your tests.

I think 512 is very very do-able for you! I only did the first NS so I can't comment on those exams, but the EK exams are waaaay harder than the real MCAT. I was on the verge of crying after my three EK exams, scoring less than 70% sometimes on all the sections, and under 60% on the physics section, but I scored a 99 percentile (131) in Physics on the real thing! You can't say much until you've take the AAMC scored. For ref, I scored 511 on NS 1, and I think it's easier than the later exams because I took that with only one round of haphazard content review. I imagine the others would be harder?

Thanks guys for your words! I felt discouraged yesterday after my test but I feel alot better now and I am going to just use it as a learning experience. I realized that I made quite a few stupid mistakes, seemingly not from reading the answer choices correctly. Trying to keep the positive vibes flowing! I will keep that in mind for the EK exams and try to aim for 70% in everything haha and just learn from them! Congrats on your amazing physics score, hopefully I can get the same hehe
