Hey
I just wanted to know what are some good resources for gen chem and ochem in terms of just practice questions. I know everyone is using chad's videos to understand the concepts but what is everyone using to tackle some practice questions (other than destroyer)?

Also what are the resources being used for RC?

I've talked to a couple of people who has taken the DAT, and each one said that if you understand and basically memorize destroyer, you should be good to go.

You could always do the practice sets from Chads website. They are good practice if you're watching the videos.
What are these chad-videos and this "destroyer" that everyone is talking about? (My chem prof. is straight from Madras and it's sometimes difficult to understand the traditional Indian method of teaching--any help in learning the material is AMAZING)

There's a whole bunch of problems on Reusch's online organic chemistry textbook site. Not specifically for DAT/MCAT, but good anyway. http://www.cem.msu.edu/~reusch/VirtualText/Questions/problems.htm

Chad's videos are here : http://www.coursesaver.com/vbtube.php

Stephen the freelance teacher's videos are here - not specific for MCAT/DAT, just the fundamentals. He has a whole bunch on organic chemistry: http://www.freelance-teacher.com/videos.htm

If you have any questions, the people here are friendly, you can also try chemical forums.

Finally, I teach, tutor, and write about organic chemistry. I invite people to ask me organic chemistry questions and I'd be happy to answer them on my website - masterorganicchemistry.wordpress.com

hope this is helpful - James

Hey Nat,

Will it be okay to share those practice tests.... I had downloaded Chad's videos when they were free so I have not registered and hence I dont have access to the practice tests...

Thanks in advance.
