practice options

I would like to practice in an underserved area once I complete medical training. I am particulary interested in NY,PA, Ohio and Michigan. Does any one know how much Osteopathic Family Physicians who practice in these areas are pd? What are the working conditions like? Is any one doing an internship/residency in an underserved area? Can a D.O be licensed in more the one state?
