Just took the practice test at prometric. Got an 84%. Does anyone know how this compares to a STEP score? How have other people done?

Some of the questions (probably about 5-10) were ones that I've seen before word for word elsewhere in practice tests that I've bought from them. I wasn't too happy about that.

By the way, there were 46 questions (not 50 like the NBMEs) and the format was EXACTLY like UWorld, including a calculator and the search function for the lab values. There were videos for some of the questions. Listening to heart sounds was interactive; there was a cartoon person and you could click on their chest to hear heart sounds at different places.

Also, the questions on the practice test were not the same as the ones in the free set of 150, except perhaps the 5-10 that I'd seen before.

I've heard different things. Some people say it's way easier and others say it's pretty on par with the real thing.

I'm taking it next week. Was pretty much expecting all of it to be repeat questions (glad to hear that's not the case). Just wanted to take it for the experience before the real thing.

I did the free test a loooong time ago so there may be more repeats that I had forgotten about and no longer recognized.

I feel like the questions were easier than the NBMEs I've taken, but since everything is on a curve, that doesn't change things much. This is why I was wondering what other people are getting.
