Practicing in a town as competitive as Los Angeles, would it be better to enter a pediatric specialty or cosmetic? I'd like to establish multiple practices although the competition is tough...

Cosmetic dentistry is not a real speciality and should stop be advocated in the dental community. It gives a false sense of information to patients as all dentistry is "cosmetic." Anywho. /rantover

You want to enter a pediatric speciality because of how competitive it is in LA? The real question is do you want to work in a speciality with screaming/vomiting/crying kids that will end up giving you all types of musculoskeletal problems in a few years of practicing?
