Do you think that practicing Gen Chem problems from my old textbook would be helpful in studying for the OAT or would that just frustrate me because the OAT asks in a completely different style? This goes for any subject on the OAT for that matter...where did you guys get your extra practice problems from?

I usually like to save my problems until I can sit and time myself on them, but then that doesn't leave me with any problems to practice with once I finish up a subject. What do you guys do?

Doing practice problems is the best way to study. I think that using textbooks from your old book is a great way to brush up on Gen Chem. While the OAT is almost all conceptual question, if you understand the theories well enough to knock out those problems I think the ones on the OAT should be a breeze
