dunno... past test takers say that these questions (extracted from multiple materials) look very similar to some of the questions asked on the real exam... If you guys can work it out for everyone to see, would be great!

i will try and attempt some....

42)good conductors are ionic compounds in aqueous solutions...so i would have to say nacl in water

44)in order to find the molecular formula of a compund you would need molar mass of the compund and the atomic mass of all of the substances. you dont need the empirical formula because sometimes, given the right question, you can get the molecular formula right off the bat. I have never used avagadros number to find the molecular formula!

45) pv/t=p2v2/t2
given.......v=10 liters v2=x
t=100+273=373 k t2=27+273=300k
p=1 atm p2=.5atm
plug it in the equation and you get
(10)(300/373)(1/.5)

46)as the volume of the gas decreases there is less room for the molecules and so they hit the container more often. This would then cause the pressure to increase becasue of the lack of space for the molecules to move in. I would have guessed moves faster BUT it is at constant temperature. and teh temperature increase would make the molecules move faster.

48) the least electronegative element is cesium and the most electronegative element is flourine

49) it is asking for density and density=m/v so....
63.05/7.09

I SUCK AT MATH
so the only question i got was
16 LOOOOL
the y axis is perpendicualr to the x axis...🙂

i could not really get the other cause i am not too sure what the answers would be..i have an idea...but i dont want to steer people the wrong way...

i have seen some of these questions on the practice booklet that the ada gave out and released to show what some dat questions actually look like...but i only recognized 1 or two

For number 16. I think the correct answer is A.

B. would be parallel to the x-axis
C. would be a reflection of the two axes
D. and E. are just equations for the line of type y=mx+b

I haven't done these in a while, so correct me if I am wrong! 🙂
