Pre-december 1st interviews all given out?

So I haven't heard back from any schools in over a month. I was wondering if you all felt the same as me. I think for the schools who are already interviewing, the pre-december 1st interviews are all given out... especially for those who applied early with mediocre grades. I'm sure they'll make room for someone who applies late but has a 4.0 and a 25 DAT AA. What do you guys think?

Not at all. I just got an invite from NYU yesterday, and they said they aren't even offering interview dates in November yet.

I got two interview invites yesterday - one from Colorado and one from Baylor. USC hasn't even started. I think it depends on the school, but I think they are far from done interviewing before dec. 1st.

its just october!!!! you have a 4.0 and a 25 i mean as long as its not case, you are fine (because they are full from what i hear), but iowa isnt dont with out of state interviews until nov 7th, but they told me that if they like you, i mean of course they will interview later... marquette, howard, udm are all just getting started (i can only speak on those schools bc i am applying there)...

When i talked to Buffalo when making my interview date the lady was telling me how there were not many spots left at all pre-december1st. This is an exception though, almost all other schools still have a ton of room in november... USC and tufts will hopefully start this week or next and maybe stony will call me=)

That's not the case then, cuz he doesn't have a 4.0 and a 25, so does that mean he won't be fine? 😀 He wants to know what his chances are vs ppl who applied late with stellar stats (he applied early with mediocre grades).

doesnt it also depend on when the school receive the completed application? They might not have even gotten to your application yet. I just got an email from NYU today that they got my application and its complete, and I submitted in late June. I think there is still lots of time...just gotta keep your stress down low a bit.

Thanks. That really puts things into perspective. Sometimes it feels like schools give out interviews all at once. It is nice to know that we still have shots at schools that have already handed out interviews.

good info, thanks guys! def. helps all except buffalo 🙁 I still haven't even heard if they've completed my app yet. yikes i guess seeing all the interview posts it seems like everything is filling up so i feel the same way but it's comforting to know that it's only like that for some schools

and we still have a chance 🙂

Plus dont' some schools hold spots for after dec 1 ppl too?

oh... haha... i didnt read it then, my fault, i thought that he was saying that he did have those scores.... hmmm... im a ditz sometimes, but i still think that there is some room to breath for the next few weeks at least...

No i'm not a NY res and I mailed my check 9/7/2007 so that should be the latest mail they received in regards to my app. It's the last school I added though so I'm not expecting to hear anytime soon for an interview cuz I know I'm not applicaint #1 in line or anything but at least a hey we got a folder with you name and stuff in it email is nice esp. since it's october! ah! I think reading SDN just gets me more worried because I see everyone getting interviews and then analyzing the situation too much.

oh well, all part of the waiting game i guess

meharry.. same thing... 8 weeks for a response!!! thats way tooo long! so hang in there and pray!

Thanks for the info. About how long was your application complete before Howard sent you the email saying your app was complete?? I submitted everything including the money order in August and still have not heard from Howard. Cross your fingers for Meharry and Howard and hopefully we will hear something soon!!!!
