I was reading a phamphlet and it said that you didnt need Calculus as a pre-req for dental school. I am currently trying to get my core classes out of the way along with the pre-reqs for Dental school since I am trying to get an MBA in marketing, is this a good idea? If I take Calculus, even though I don't have to, does it look good on an application for Dental school? Also, if I finish my pre-reqs for dental school with a good gpa and I get a bachelors in Marketing, would that look good also for dental school? Can someone please help me out thanks!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that they'd probably rather see upper division biology courses. So many people take Calc, it's not like it'd impress them or anything.

most dental schools require at least Calc I. you should check out some school websites to see if you need to take it or not.

if it is on your MBA requirement then you might as well take it. Schools dont care about the class you took, as long as you get an A in it you're fine. (please don't tear apart my blanket statement. Basket weaving obviously isn't comparable to calc unless of course it is ivy league😀
