Hello SDN!

I am needing advice for dental school if possible and would greatly appreciate your input. I am graduating this year with my BS in Biology, my overall cumulative GPA will be 3.42 so far if I ace my last classes. My question is, should I take post bac classes at my local university and then apply to dental school the following year to boost up my GPA or can I apply and just ensure that I score well on the DAT? Or would you suggest to complete a masters program? I am doing research during the summer, and was thinking about taking summer classes to boost up my gpa. Or should I just study for the summer for my DAT. I just have no direction and would greatly appreciate advice, given.

Thank you very much.

Your overall GPA is pretty good. I'm assuming your science GPA is similar? If so, I would just focus on doing well on the DAT (20+) and not take additional classes. You don't want to risk lowering your GPA anymore.

Thank you very much, I am stressing about my GPA. That' is what I was worried about also is not being able To get good grades on additional classes, I just have no direction.

seems like it's going to be worth a shot with a decent DAT 20+. Another option is you can still take classes while you are applying so that you can boost your GPA in case you have to apply again next year.
