Pre-Interview Meeting?

I was asked if i wanted to come for a pre-interview meeting with the PD and faculty so they can show me the program. This is my most desired program. I scheduled the main interview in November. Now i am thinking should i schedule this pre-interview thing?......travel is not an issue since its not very far but my concern is it will be informal and what if i fail to make the kind of impression i would like to make??

Is anyone else facing the same dilemma?

I can't say I'm facing the same problem as you... that sounds like a great deal though... I would definitely do it.

As far as being worried.. I wouldn't be. Ultimately you have to be yourself and you have to find the program that fits your personality. It's not like medical school where you're being selected... You also have to be selective. And get that self-esteem up! 🙂
