I just want some input as to whether it is worth putting these in an update letter pre-interview... or whether I should even write an update letter. Im on hold for interviews at some schools, and am worried about the other schools that stay silent... I thought maybe the updates would help.
1) Getting accepted to present at a symposium. (Probably should include.)
2) Started new research projects. (I know you would definitely include publications. Not sure about new projects since there's barely any data to talk about yet...)
3) Featured in a PSA for the volunteer program I committed to. (appropriate to include?)
4) Started own business (Not making much cash yet as I rely heavily on internet traffic, so I don't know if they'll just laugh at me...)
