So I'm currently in my Junior year second semester, and it feels like all my dreams are coming crashing down regarding med school.

Here's a brief summary of my situation
-entered local state college and did great, was honors student, all As and A+'s as a human biology major
-Sophomore year: Transferred to top state college, did okay, nothing below a B+
-changed major to math
-Did research and volunteering
-finished all my premed classes except organic chemistry
-Junior year 1st semester: Horrible horrible semester, took too many classes, failed exams for the first time, ended up with a C- in organic chemistry 2 and GPA plummeted 3.2 (not including my classes taken at the old university I went to)

I'm retaking chemistry this semester and have a lighter workload in addition to my research and volunteering. I'm not sure if I should continue studying for the MCAT in hopes of applying this summer to medical schools. Also, since I changed schools and majors, I'm having trouble with LOR's. I need advice on how to move forward.

First off, you need to consider that med school will be 3-5x harder that anything you're facing now. How will you survive that????

But ace everything from now on, and this will be seen as an aberration.

STRONGLY suggest that you visit your school's learning or education center for help with time mgt and study tips.
