Hahahaha it doesn't matter if its legal or illegal. It still will affect your performance while under the influence. Doctors enjoy alcohol while not on the job, there is no difference is a doctor enjoys marijuana either. Your only defense is the legality of it, which is very naive.
In fact, I'd trust a doctor that was on marijuana rather than a doctor that was drunk.

Third of all, weed is illegal last time i checked and should remain so.
What university kicks people out of the dorms for one infraction? I know people from different universities that were busted for using drugs and they still got to live there.

You might send him a text that includes the killing reference. Then see how he responds. If he texts something that affirms the threat, then you have more proof to take to authorities.

Because people feel very strongly about one stance or the other. In addition, the OP does not truly realize what he did to a fellow applicant, nor does he feel any remorse. Smoking marijuana is illegal, but so is drinking alcohol under 21. Let's be honest, what percentage of pre-meds engaged in this "illegal act"? Is this going to make them worse doctors in the future? Probably not.

Ok, but the BIG point is....why tattle on your roommate? Was it blind instinct? It's not nice to do that to someone. I'm sorry if this is repeated 10x already, but the better solution would have been to talk to him yourself instead of running to the RA.
It's not weed is a terrible, horrible drug that must be crushed and users must be punished beyond belief. That's taking it a little bit extreme...
No offense, but you seem to really harp on the fact that weed should stay illegal...is this for personal reasons, cause most people aren't this strongly opposed to it.
