Which major at UCSD is best for pre-med? I am considering General Biology, Human Biology, Microbiology, or Public Health/Global Health. I want to choose a major that will cover all of the pre-med requirements, without too many additional courses that I have to take, because I want to have space to take a lot of electives. Thanks in advance!
(P.S. I really hate writing essays so I want to avoid any classes that involve a lot of writing)

Just go with general biology. You get a lot more flexibility in terms of selection of your classes. And it will definetly cover your medical pre reqs.

not bioengineeing 😀 bad choices were made haha

Take psych, its easy and you’ll have time to do all the prerequisites as electives while you’re busy not going to lab 9 hours a week
