Hi, I have a several questions regarding pre-req classes.

1) I know that Anatomy and Physiology courses are probably the most important classes out of all pre-req courses. Having said that, is it okay to take those courses at a 2-year community college?

2) I got a low grade for statistics class so I'm planning to repeat it. Does it matter if I repeat in my original 4-year university (Stony Brook University), or at a community college mentioned above?

3) Are online classes acceptable? For example, some PT schools require 'medical terminology' class so I'm wondering if I should take that online or not, since none of the schools nearby have any openings.

Any answer would be appreciated! Thank you in advance!

1) It depends on the school you're applying to. If it's a PTCAS school, pull up its page on PTCAS and it will say clearly if classes at a community college are accepted. Most PT schools will accept A&P classes from a CC (the 4 schools I am applying to, do). Some schools may require that specific classes be taken at a university. For ex., Winston-Salem State U. in NC requires a Microbiology class from a 4-yr school, while all the other pre-reqs can be taken at a CC.

2) Same as 1)

3) You'll need to check with each school on that one.
