I was just browsing a med school web page and it said that all of the pre-req courses must be completed within six years of the date you apply...what happens if you take most of your pre-reqs freshman year then do a masters or phd before applying to medical school? If you do a PhD it will surely over 6 years from your freshman year of undergrad, would you have to redo the pre-reqs over again before you apply?

I doubt they are that picky. That rule isn't for borderline cases.

Basically they are saying that they want to see relatively recent coursework. So if you are a non-trad who hasnt taken classes in 10 years they want to see that you still can hack it.

Best bet is to contact the school, but I doubt they'd make you retake
