My plan is to take Physics 1 and 2 my last year of college. That means that the final grades for those classes are not going to be in the transcript that is going to be sent to dental schools, Is that OK? By that time, I will have taken other upper science classes. Any thoughts? Thanks!

It should be ok. You can submit an academic update for the fall physics if you want.

So how will I have to do that? Send the transcripts directly to the school or to AADSAS?

I did the exact same thing. schools that really look at you BCP average may question you on why you pushed it off and verify you are going to take it. They did for me. I was honest and said it was not on the DAT and i wanted to take as many upper level biology courses as i could, to prepare for the DAT.

The academic update is due by mid February. It is only needed if you are waiting to get a late interview or trying to show improvement while on a wait list. you submit this through AADSAS with another matching form.

though... you do have to submit a final transcript to whatever dental school you get accepted to, prior to dental school matriculation (week or so before classes start). i m just clarifying to making sure you dont get in and then think you can drop a required course.
