My grades were just verified but AACOMAS changed the designation on my composition/literature class to social justice so I can't use it as an English pre-req and AACOMAS is unwilling to accept any course descriptions to change the designation.

Can I leave the English requirement blank and submit my application? Or do schools just ignore it until all the pre-reqs are filled in? I'm going to sign up for two more English classes but its going to be another 2 months before I can enroll in the class and get transcripts to AACOMAS. By then it'll be January.

Most of the schools I've looked at won't take writing intensive classes as a substitute. I'm at a loss for what to do here.

Any suggestions?

As long as you have intention of finishing your prereqs before matriculation, you're really fine. If you do get accepted, they'll ask for additional transcripts at that point for proof. Your plan works. If you want it sooner, look for a community college online winter-mester course for English. No sweat.

Sorry to jump in here but would this also apply it you are retaking an Ochem course that you previously did poorly in ?
