out of the list which two courses will knock out my pre-req(bio) for dental school

plus, i have got AP credit for both Stat and Calc 1. and i have taken calc 2 in my freshmen year, do i have to take more math classes to fulfill the one year math requirement for dental schools?

lastly i took eng 101 and planning on taking lit or comm class, do they qualify as a eng class?

thank you so much in advance:laugh:

I believe it would be 181 and 183, but a call to your advisor or a friend who's gone through pre-med or pre-dental would be best.

I agree, those two sound just like my two intro to bio for bio majors classes. The other 100 level classes sound like general ed bio, and that won't quite work. For confirmation, call a local dental school, they often have lists of classes from colleges around them and can see if they will count.

thank you, but can anyone answer the second part of the question 🙂

Normally they want like freshman comp and a critical thinking/writing class.

sweet! thank you!
one last question, calc 1(ap),stat(ap) and calc 2 are about all i need for math requirement right?😕

I think normally you have a choice between a year of calc or a semester of calc and a semester of stats. Some schools actually have stats on their recommended class lists. I did half stats/half calc.
