***Prelim Surgery Interview Thread****

Thought it would be nice to have a separate thread for prelim surgery. I'm applying into Interventional Radiology, but I know some others interested in optho, etc may find this useful too. So far I've interviewed at one place and have interviews at a few others, and the dates seem to be separate from categoricals. Does anyone have a sense of what are good prelim programs?

-UIC Metropolitan group hospitals (9/26): 10/21
-Northwestern (10/14): Will set up individual dates or skype times

Massachusetts
-MGH (10/17): Interviews to be offered in January

Philadelphia
-UPenn (10/22): 12/12, 1/9

New York
- NY Hospital Queens/Cornell (10/9): had interview on 10/29, other 3 dates were in November and December I believe, was interviewed with categorical applicants
- Icahn Beth Israel (10/9): interview is on February 6, I suspect it's separate from categorical

Other news: rejection from Columbia a while back, waitlist Jefferson about a week ago (late October)
