Preliminary Medicine programs in the Chicago-area

I would greatly appreciate any input from current prelim medicine residents at Chicago-area programs. I am looking at UIC, Rush, Northwestern, Evanston-Northwestern, and Lutheran General. I also plan to apply to a few transitional programs. I am from the Chicago area and go to med school there as well.

I would also appreciate any input from categorical residents in these and other Medicine programs with prelim residents.

I hope to learn during my intern year, but (like most people) would not want to be at a program that is heavy on scut and/or has poor team morale.
