Hello,

I am the mother of a future Medical Geneticist. I had heard from several colleges about premed programs in Genetics but I can't seem to find online. Is there anyone in this forum in such a program or knows of one?

None to my knowledge. He'll just need to take the prereqs for med school. You don't start to specialize until completion of med school, in residency/fellowship. More info: Training Options | ABMGG

Odds are if he's in HS now, he will change his mind a 100x in college, more so in med school, etc.

Long story short, he can get any undergrad degree he desires and can get into med school with completion of prereqs + MCAT + ECs. Specializing is not possible until after med school, once in residency/fellowship.
