I am applying next june for the Fall 2012 semester. I want to be able to send my app in on the earliest day possible. So I was wondering: when is the earliest i can send in recommendations and my transcript to be verified for the app? Second, does every element of an app have to be verified in order to have a completed primary app? And third, is it possible to have all of these things done by june 1?

Wow. I wish I was half of on top of things. I thought starting in March was excessive. 1) You can't open up your AMCAS application till May. 2) LOR's and the schools you are applying to is the only thing you can add after you submit your primary 3) Yes but accept that LORS are largely out of your control especially if you are waiting on a committee.

Your best bet for now is worrying about the MCAT if you haven't taken it yet. Other than that relax. You will be stressed out and busy with it soon enough.

If I remember correctly, you don't need your recommendations to be in before your primary can be verified. You do however need to have all your transcripts in and those can be submitted as soon as the app opens up. And yes, you need to have every part filled out before submission. That would be wise lol. And as for whether it is possible to do it all by June 1st, all I can say is wow, good luck. just take things one step at a time. way too early for this.

You can submit June 1. However, you'll be in a hurry to do nothing as your app won't get sent to the schools immediately. You'll be better served to make sure you have a quality app.

And no, LORs aren't required for your app to be verified.

I suppose if you started before then, you could be done, with quality.

You could write your personal statement and the description of the activities already.

That's what takes the most time, OP.

However, just keep in a mental note of how activities have affected/influenced you since you wrote the descriptions/personal statement, so you can add to or change those things if you experience something you want to share. That's for pre-writing----once you submit it, it's over.
