Hi!

I will be recieving my BA in psychology this month. I am going to go for a second bachelors in Biological studies and I was wondering if anybody had any study tips to prep for the calculus, chemistry, physics and biology classes. can anyone recommend any books or websites that might be helpful?

Thank you very much!

For calculus do every single practice problems given by your instructor, they will be likely on quizes and exams.

For chemistry I bought the solution manual for the book, and did every single end of chapter problems that helped a lot during the exams.

Almost forgot, Biology almost is all about memorization, so flash cards will help.

Ensure that you stay up to date on the material. Don't loaf and let things stack up before the night of the test. I always spent two weeks before a test studying the material. By the time the test rolled around I had a very firm grasp of all the material.

For biology classes, I'd suggest getting some MCAT bio review books and thumb through them. You'll get a very good idea of what to expect. Also, I found listening to lectures the night or day after the lecture and beefing up your notes help a lot. (Turned my B in embryology into an A).

Physics, Chem and Math are just practice practice practice! Just constantly do practice problems and you'll be great 🙂 👍
